this is how to study

The day before the exam. I couldn't read anymore, so while Sam read aloud I carved erasers, the little rejected bits collecting on my table, creating a little mound between us to separate the studious from... well me.

I've been wanting to make a chop for a while now, but have no idea how to make it look as beautiful with English letters and words. And without red ink. Gotta get me some!

the history of life! geology 107 notes:

I managed to make three stamps from one eraser. I am a baller! Whut.

I was excited for my second christmas! Being Jewish all this time has been great, don't get me wrong. The streets always seemed a little emptier on Christmas Eve, everyone at home with their families while my family walked down an empty street, bellies full of chinese food, arms heavy from hours of bowling. With Sam's family though I get to sit by the tree! The tree that is INSIDE and covered in shiny memories. It has it's charm.

these were from the midterm. I didn't leave myself enough time on the final to use all of my pretty pens and draw diagrams and things so... panic! I have to find a quicker way to study.

Sam's High School Doodles

He wanted to throw it away, but I looove it. So! Compromise.

sketchbook page

Done long ago, and now far away! Although it isn't actually far away because I kind of like it even though it's ripped to shreds.

class notes

I'm going through all my papers and THROWING THEM AWAY! Aaah at last my house will be free of clutter! The internet will make it so.

Maarten De Ceulaer - Furniture Designer

"This chair plays with the contrast between the very essence of a chair, and the upholstered ornamented chair like we know them from our grandmothers house. By gluing the different views of that 'classic chair' onto the 'essential chair', a kind of hologram-effect was created"
